Luxury Watch Brands Eye New Colors for 2014
2014 is shaping up to be a colorful year in the world of luxury wrist watches, according to a May 31 Los Angeles Times article.Glimpses of bright, eye-catching color are showing up on the faces, hands and straps of watches from brands like Bell & Ross, Chopard and Victorinox Swiss Army, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Most of these colorful luxury sport watches can also double as stop watches, making them useful for keeping time during a workout. They are versatile enough to be worn on the go, around the house or even in the office.
NATO straps are also another sporty, on-trend feature for luxury watches this year and boast — you guessed it — bright pops of color. A NATO strap is a nylon strap that loops through the watch’s pins and passes beneath the watch case, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Some trendy colors to keep an eye out for include cognac, coral, turquoise, sand, grey and rose gold.
Studies show that about 62% of Americans still wear wrist watches regularly. Make yours stand out from the crowd with one of this year’s hottest colors.
