Will Another Duggar Have ’19 Kids’? Jessa Duggar Announces Her Pregnancy

Looks like another Duggar is about to start a super-sized family!

Twenty-two-year-old Jessa Seewald, nee Duggar, has announced that she and 19-year-old hubby Ben are expecting. Seewald is now in her second trimester and is expecting her first born on November 1, the couple’s wedding anniversary.

Seewald is the third daughter born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who are the stars of the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting.

Before church one Sunday morning, Seewald decided to take a pregnancy test to see if she might be pregnant. Sure enough, she saw the positive result and ran to tell her husband.

“I said, ‘Hey Ben, guess what? Yeah, you’re a dad.’ We couldn’t believe it,” she said to People magazine.

The excited couple has already begun discussing baby names.

So far the pregnancy hasn’t taken away Seewald’s enthusiasm, and she says she’s feeling okay for the most part.

“The morning sickness was different every day,” she said. “It’s getting better, but I’m still hanging on to the heartburn. And I don’t have any super-serious food cravings.”

Morning sickness, heartburn, and food cravings are just some of the many early warning signs of pregnancy, all of which can range from mild to severe for some women.

Seewald’s older sister Jill and her husband Derick Dillard just welcomed their first child, Israel David Dillard, into the world two weeks ago. Unlike Jill, however, Seewald decided to wait to reveal her pregnancy announcement until her second trimester.

Earlier, the Seewalds had expressed their desire to adopt a child in the future. That plan hasn’t changed but will be put on hold, as the agency that the couple is working with requires couples to be married for at least two years before adopting a child.

The next episode of 19 Kids and Counting also features a special message from the couple to the show’s fans.
